Inside the head of a teacher...

Hello.


I have been wanting to let people into what my year has been like as a teacher. Why nobody ever saw me last semester. Simply put, teaching students and being a student at the same time is way too much. I barely had time to maintain my relationship. Probably if she didn't work for the school district, then I wouldn't have hung out with her as much as I did.


Anyways, I had an idea to help let people see some of the things I was struggling with and went on with me last semester.


For my Practicum class (class in which I earned credit for doing numerous projects showing me "practicing" skills I have learned in my regular classes) I had to write journals about different topics such as dealing with parents, my classroom, how I felt my students were progressing, etc.

So I am going to post those journals on as entries entitled "The Teacher Journals". They will be numbered 1, 2, 3, and so on.

I got the idea from my practicum advisor who said that in my entries I was really vulnerable and open with how I felt about things going on this school year. So I was like why start all over, when this would be so much simpler.
