Remember when Greg challenged us to all write blogs and Abe and Zach actually went and created blogspots. Dean had a WordPress already and restarted posts. Adam and I kept periodically meandering.
I still meander...mostly because I like to hear myself talk and partly because I think people may like hearing what I say, and because the men at my bachelor party said they like reading it (well Billy did).
I know we all leave vastly different lives that sometimes run together, but not as often as most of us would like. Almost all of us are gainfully employed and our professional lives pull us away from leisurely things like blogging, but I need to know things...
...I need to know what happened in the next 6 weeks of Joanna's life. She is almost a year old and a year has 52 weeks. There are nearly 9 periods of 6 weeks in a year. You could tell funny, scary, sad, amazing, or silly father anecdotes about raising a baby girl. Think about it.
...I need to know more about why to hate sports and competition. Since going to college the flow of testosterone suddenly intensified and I do like watching some sports. I still like playing sports because that is good is for you and it has become a new found bonding experience for the Blue House Boys and honorary members. But your thesis is incomplete. Utterly Brilliant, but incomplete.
...I need to know more about financial frugality. I need to know where to get good deals and how to save money.
...I need to know what life is like as a music producer in Nashville. The new crazies you meet in the studio and on the streets. Is it cheesy or is it awesome, or a mixture of both?
...I need to know that there are more blog posts that are way too long for the human mind to read that cover topics from Bruce Springsteen to romance to Shakespeare to Seinfeld to female devilry.
And I will keep entertaining the masses as I usually do. I have the whole summer ahead of me...
