Okay, watched a bit of the VMA's...was watching Jay-Z perform with Alicia Keys.
It was the song "Empire State of Mind". He is the "King of Hip-Hop" afterall.
It samples the song by Coldplay "The Scientist".
I couldn't believe it. Shocking, but pretty cool.
Oh, and Kanye West is a fucking douchebag. I just said it. God forgive me.
I am off his bandwagon. I have defended his idiocy for so long because he makes music that is so different from the rest of the bland cookie-cutter hip-hop crap out right now and for the last 10 years.
I do not even care about Taylor Swift, but that is totally disrespectful to a fellow artist/musician and he has gotten away with DISRESPECTING other artists for FAR too long.
I understand thinking somebody sucks, but who cares what you think? Why should we? Because you're famous? Why do you have to tell the public at every given opportunity?
If you want to voice your opinion do what everybody else does Kanye. Get a fuckin' blog or Twitter you arrogant jackass.
