Does anybody remember Andrew W.K. the party rocker?
"When it's time to party, we will always party hard! Party hard!!!"
Yeah that guy has a T.V. show now. A tweens-T.V. show called Destroy Build Destroy on Cartoon Network's new initiative to have live shows due to their popularity on other childrens networks. LIVE shows on CARTOON network. Yes, I am outraged. A year or so ago they had a live-animation mash show "Out of Jimmy's Head" and it lasted only 20 episodes, thank goodness. Nothing is sacred anymore.
Does anybody remember the documentary Grizzly Man?
There is a new show on Animal Planet called Stranger Among Bears. In an episode (I watched two tonight), there was even a comparison to Timothy Treadwell, the idiotic grizzly man. Seriously that guy was crazy.
This guy has named every bear. He lets the bears come to him though and does not search them out. He lives in a cabin and waits for the bears to come out of hibernation. He doesn't go into "their bedroom" like Timothy Treadwell, as he described it. Charlie Vandergaw is 70 years old and he has finally let someone come film his actions. Really worth watching.
p.s. - Not a T.V. show, but does anybody who attended Sumner remember Shaun Jones? Well Lynette's nephew Devan was in a VBS presentation at Haven Baptist Church. Shaun Jones is the Youth Pastor. Blew my mind to run into him filling that postion.
p.s.s. - I am engaged as of June 8th. The cable guy helped me find the ring because I had to help him move the T.V. so that he could install the wiring. Then I looked down and right there were the black boxes. I was like, "No Way". But yes way. The date is March 13th. So get excited. Be even more excited that your fiancee is not plan crazy right now...(insert Ernie from Sesame Street laugh...)
p.s.s.s. - I will be writing stories about my Europe Trip soon, so stay tuned. Europe is amazing, not perfect, and I was just a tourist so did not see real day to day life, but it was amazing. So stay tuned. And I've rejoined Facebook in order to more easily share pictures. I know Facebook sucks stumbling away from its far simpler days, but it's the easiest way to share pics I could think of.

Not that I'm trying to sway you from facebook (especially with that doozy of a pic Ashley just posted of us from back in the day) ...but you could also use flickr.
Just so you know.
Oh...and PRAISE THE LORD!!! The ring has returned. And you are getting married four days before my birthday. So maybe I could have my own cake? Think about it.
